 | | David Thelwell - Biography | | David is a wildlife illustrator and artist specialising in birds. He usually paints in gouache and acrylic but also uses a pen on white scraper board for some of his illustrations. Recently, David has illustrated The Herons - Oxford University Press. Other publications featuring his work include: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Birds; Birds of Prey of the World; An Illustrated Guide to Herbs and Wild Flowers of the British Isles and Northern Europe. In addition, David has illustrated numerous magazines and children's colouring and activity books. David is happy to accept commissions through Angelico Creative Ltd. It is interesting to note that David's father was the famous cartoonist, Norman Thelwell. |
