Annie studied art at Canterbury College of Arts, taught art in Brighton after gaining an art teacher's diploma, has lived on boats in England France and finally settled by the sea in Sussex. Annie exhibits with the Rye Society of Artists, the Society of Botanical Artists, the Sussex Guild, SOCO and at local galleries. Work is in private collections throughout the world. She was the winner of the Frisk/Talens Purchase Prize at the 1992 'Art in Nature' exhibition, is regular artist -in-residence at Nature in Art, Gloucester and elected a member of the Society of Botanical Artists in 1995. Six panels of Annie's work adorn the cruise liner Saga Rose. Commissioned to decorate a life size fibreglass cow for CowParade London 2002 "Dawn Cowrus' (Annie covered the cow with birds) this stood in the ground of the Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood throughout the summer and autumn of 2002 and was voted 'CowParade Champion' in a poll, it was auctioned at the Royal Smithfield show to raise money for charity. Annie enjoys painting in watercolour, gouache, and silk dyes(wax resist), also printmaking - mostly linocuts, using various techniques. Fabric collage is another favourite medium.
