Marilyn is a watercolour artist working in a loose and impressionistic style, paintings are strong, vibrant, capturing movement and the energy of a scene. Working mainly in watercolour but also acrylic inks and mixed media. Marilyn won the Society for all Artists 'Artist of the Year 1999' award. Winning the Dale Rowney front page competition offered the opportunity to hold a trio exhibition in the Royal Commonwealth Society, London. In 2000 a watercolour was accepted by the Royal Institute in Watercolour while 2003 saw a painting reach the final of the International Artists competition.
